Oh my God!!!!Thank You So much!!!I didn’t know that somewhere there are really people who understand.Little David (my son)died when he was 2 and1\2 months old of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.I tried grief counciling groups but stopped going after the first time.People had their babies there with them and I couldn’t deal with it.After that I turned to drugs and alcohol, got very addicted and ruined my life.Only by the grace of God am I sober now,but I have yet to grieve the loss of my first born son.I wish there could have been something likeCompassionate Friends for me back in 1990.I wish there was a place like that now, here in the quad cities.I would go.The people in that video now and said so much of how I feel and what I went through.I was told to get over it by my husbands mother.I couldn’t then and I don’t think I can now.I’m afraid that if I move on- he will think I have forgotten him.I’m so tired of feeling guilty when I have a good time or laugh…..I miss him so much..Its almost his bday again(6-29)and the countdown will begin again until the day he dies.24 years later it still is like he is during all over again. This year I won’t be drunk or high so I don’t know how I will cope,….
